Introduction

s.u.m.o.c.o.r.e was created by AmRA and run in PHP 5.2.x/5.3.x, MySQL/ORACLE, APACHE 2.2.x. It uses JQUERY as main javascript library and needs several Apache C++ extensions and PEARL modules. It's a modular CMS engine with lots of features and builded for speed and security.

Notes from the author

Several years ago I was inspired to build a completely new CMS system as support of my experiments so I decided to study several popular CMS to find the best way to build it. Unfortunatly for me, any of them have things I really don't need or use lot'sa code for remain compatible to old versions, so I decided to build one from scratch. I was using a CMS called PHPFusion that was already deeply modified for being multilanguage/multicontenent and I decided to maintain the db data, so I coded a totally new core builded over PHP classes, a module manager that is able to load modules fast and secure, a rendering engine that can be modified online, a brand new BBCode engine with extreme features and converted all database for the new core. By inspiring from site like Facebook I added a lot of realtime stuff thanks a javascript library called JQuery that I was using from the ancient time of it's developing. I aways focused on speed, features, security and followed the full w3c specifications and has results of my efforts here is my personal cms engine. Since I am the developer it's really easy for me mod or expand it and this is the reason I continue add features every day. Unfortunatly I don't have any time for graphics since I mainly am a producer/engineer/musician in the music industry and this is why the graphys is't so good as I really would like to, but thanks my dynamic theme engine it will be possible in the near future change this!
sumocore it's totally created by using open source stuff (apart MaxMind database) and here is the list of almost all library and code authors that are part of the entire project for their excellent work.
